AGENCY UPDATE - JUNE 1, 2020
Current Operating Procedures
Nixon Insurance Agency has remained open during the COVID-19 shutdown. However, due to a flood caused when a toilet broke over the weekend of May 9th, our office will remain closed to walk-in traffic over the next few weeks so that repairs and renovations can be completed. We hope to be open to the public on a regular basis by June 15th. There will be at least one employee in the office during the repair period to receive mail, receive deliveries, and collect payments and other documents left in our mailbox. That person will answer the doorbell, but it may take a few minutes if they are on the telephone. For information on how we plan to operate once we re-open, please see the COVID-19 UPDATE below. If we are forced to shut down our office, we will continue to accept claim information and report claims to your insurance carriers on your behalf. If you need to drop off claim documents at our office, please leave documentation in our office mailbox (black) just outside our office door. Someone will be collecting these documents daily.
For personal lines claims, please call (309)657-2746.
For business insurance claims, please call (309)339-2909.
We recommend that you make insurance premium payments online with your respective insurance carriers. Insurance carriers that have this capability list their website payment information on your bill. If you do not have access to the internet, you can drop off your premium payment at our office mailbox (black) just outside our office door. Someone will be collecting these payments daily.

We hope to have employees back in the office the week of June 8th with the office officially re-opening on June 15th. When we do re-open, we will be operating a differently to keep our employees and customers as safe as possible.
For the time being, our restrooms will not be open to the public.
For the protection of our employees and other customers, please do not come in our office if you are feeling sick or running a fever.
If you cannot or do not want to come in our agency, leave any documents or payments in the little black mailbox outside our door and ring the doorbell. We will come get them.
